Welcome to Digital Design & Promotion at PCHS!
Digital Design & Promotion is a one-semester course that combines the versatility of the computer with graphic design software including Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Students will develop proficiency in using graphic arts/desktop publishing software to create flyers, brochures, newsletters, magazines, multimedia presentations, and more. The course includes page composition, layout, design, typography, editing functions, and a variety of printing options. This area of instruction provides content for employment in career areas which include graphic arts/desktop publishing skills. In addition, students are given concepts and skills they can take with them into any professional environment.
